In accordance with applicable national law and international human rights standards;

  • Affirming that every person has the fundamental right to freedom of expression, access to information, protection of human dignity, privacy, and personal security;
  • Affirming that the media must be able to operate free from censorship and undue interference;
  • Recognizing that in order to balance these rights, the media possess both freedoms and responsibilities;

Declaring that our primary purpose, in adopting the spirit and letter of this Code, is to respect the public’s right to receive and impart truthful and reliable information, enabling citizens to participate meaningfully in a democratic and transparent society;

We, the representatives of dailyinsider.net, hereby adopt the following principles.

1. Provision of Reliable Information

1.1 Accuracy

1.1.1. We shall publish information that is accurate, verified, and presented honestly.

1.1.2. We shall not knowingly publish false or misleading information.

1.1.3. We shall clearly distinguish facts from opinion, analysis, and speculation.

1.1.4. We shall seek to present diverse viewpoints on matters of public importance.

1.2 Corrections

1.2.1. When significant inaccuracies are identified, we shall correct them promptly and transparently.

1.2.2. We shall provide a right of reply to individuals or organizations directly affected by incorrect or misleading content.

1.3 Sources

1.3.1. We strive to verify information using multiple and reliable sources whenever possible.

1.3.2. We prefer identified sources and use anonymous sources only when justified by public interest.

1.3.3. We protect the confidentiality of sources who request anonymity.

2. Gathering and Presentation of Information

2.1 Lawful and Fair Methods

2.1.1. Information shall be obtained by lawful and honest means.

2.1.2. Deceptive methods may be used only when essential to obtain information of overriding public interest and when no reasonable alternative exists.

2.2 Privacy

2.2.1. We respect the private life of individuals.

2.2.2. Intrusion into private or family life is justified only by a clear public interest.

2.2.3. We report on tragedy, grief, and suffering with sensitivity and restraint.

2.3 Children and Vulnerable Persons

2.3.1. We exercise special care when content involves minors or vulnerable individuals.

2.3.2. We do not identify minors involved in criminal, traumatic, or sensitive situations.

2.4 Discrimination and Hate

2.4.1. We do not publish content that incites hatred, violence, or discrimination.

2.4.2. Personal characteristics such as race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation are mentioned only when directly relevant.

2.5 Crime and Violence

2.5.1. We respect the presumption of innocence.

2.5.2. We avoid sensationalizing crime, violence, or cruelty.

3. Editorial Independence

3.1. Editorial decisions are independent of political, commercial, or personal influence.

3.2. Sponsored, paid, or promotional content is clearly labeled.

3.3. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

4. Professional Conduct

4.1. We respect copyright and intellectual property.

4.2. Plagiarism is unacceptable.

4.3. We treat colleagues, sources, and the public with respect.

5. Public Interest

5.1. The public interest shall guide our editorial judgment.

5.2. Public interest refers to information that protects health, safety, rights, and democratic accountability, not merely material that attracts attention.

6. Accountability

6.1. We take responsibility for our content.
